QUINCY JONES:  Apologizes for comments

Quincy Jones has apologized for his recent controversial comments.

The legend producer tweets that his daughters intervened after he claimed in interviews that Marlon Brando and Richard Pryor slept together, the early Beatles were talent-less, and Michael Jackson "stole" songs he claimed to have written.

In a post titled "Learned My Lesson," Quincy thanks his daughters "because they aren't afraid to stand up to their daddy," and said he's "an imperfect human and not afraid to say it." Taking the blame for his "word vomit" and "bad-mouthing," he explained that since he leads "a public life, I wanted to make a public apology... to anyone whom my words offended." (USA Today)
