The Beatles got their 50th anniversary tribute a few weeks ago.  Not it's time for a nod to another British Invasion band -- The Dave Clark 5.

PBS will turn the spotlight on the DC 5 next month in the documentary The Dave Clark Five and Beyond -- Glad All Over.  The special will be featured on PBS' Great Performances series.

It will air on April 8th, with an encore presentation on April 11th.  It will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray in conjunction with the broadcast.  The special will feature a number of vintage performances as well as interviews from Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder.

The Dave Clark 5 had a "Beatles-esque" sound at times with hits like "Because," "Glad All Over" and "Bits and Pieces" all hitting the top 40 charts here in the U.S.
