The legendary Glen Campbell turns 78 today.
Glen was unable to attend last Friday night's debut of the documentary of his 2012 Goodbye Tour. People magazine reports that his condition has declined to the point where his family moved him recently to a "memory care facility" in Nashville.
Being primary caregivers just proved too much for his wife and children. Glen's wife Kim says, "We were just struggling every second to keep him safe -- we felt like it wasn't safe anymore." Daughter Ashley Campbell that "dish soap liquid and olive oil" pose a special danger to Alzheimer's patients like her dad. "He'll drink anything...If you lose concentration for a second, he could hurt himself."
