Linda Ronstadt -- The Duets goes on sale April 8th, two days before the ceremony inducting her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The new 15-track collection is Ronstadt's first in many years.  It'll feature duets with J.D. Souther, Bette Midler, Aaron Neville, James Ingram, Frank Sinatra (through the wonders of modern technology), Dolly Parton and Don Henley.

Speaking of Henley, the Eagles got their real start as Linda Ronstadt's backup band in the early 70s.  This is not Linda's first go round with a duets collection.  She previously teamed with Aaron Neville in 1989 for a duets album.  Neville will join her again on this album.

The two of them teamed up for a remake of the soul classic "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby" from that album in 1989 from iHeartRadio:
