Loverboy's Mike Reno sounded almost as excited about the band's upcoming album as discussing "Working for the Weekend"'s use in that Radio Shack ad during the Big Game.

The still untitled album is finished, but there is no release date yet.  It's all original material, and according to the band's manager, it's "Basically a collection of tunes that were unfinished from 'the vault,' that Mike's longtime collaborator Paul Dean completed.  It's pretty amazing.  It should be out around July."

Loverboy had a string of top 10 hits in the 80s that included "Turn Me Loose" and their classic "Working for the Weekend."
