The Rolling Stones are still capable of pulling off a surprise or two.  That's what they did at a show in Tokyo on Tuesday.

With Mick Taylor on guitar, just like he was on the original, they played "Silver Train" for the first time in 40 years.  The song was featured on the legendary 1973 album Goats Head Soup.  The only time The Stones ever performed that song live was over four shows in one week back in September 1973.

The song was voted for by fans on RollingStones.com, on the band's official app and their numerous pages across social media sites.  The Rolling Stones wrap up the Japan leg of their 14 on Fire tour later this week.

Eric Clapton just finished his tour of Japan in Tokyo this week and said it could be the last time he plays there.  This could also be the last time The Rolling Stones play Japan as well.
