Who: A Place To Stay presented by Radney Foster, Kyle Hutton and other Texas country artists with support of the Bowen Foundation
What: Free Concert on statewide tour raising awareness of the needs of our Texas children in foster care, and how the community can support those needs.
Why: Many in our community are not aware that children with no place to go have no other option than CPS and the foster system. There are not enough foster homes in our state to support the need, so there are children in hotels, sleeping on the floors of CPS offices around the state or on the street. This affects everyone in our state one way or another. Help can look like fostering, offering to support the families that do or in a number of ways. A Place To Stay is an organization working to improve the outcomes of these “community” children.
