Madonna's blood-soaked "God Control" video has been slammed by the usual suspects, as well as one surprising one -- Emma Gonzalez, one of the most vocal survivors of the Parkland school shooting.
Emma, whose voice is sampled in "I Rise," another tune on Madge's Madame X album, took to Twitter to express disappointment in the video. She wrote “This is NOT the correct way to talk about gun violence. People who have been working in the GVP [gun violence prevention] community know how to talk about gun violence, not most celebrities #GodControl.”
The video was released on the anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting, in which 49 LGBT people were murdered and dozens more injured.
