Ringo Starr spoke out at his birthday event in L.A. Sunday and was asked him if anything was being planned for the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles' Abbey Road, which came out in Britain on September 26th, 1969 and in the U.S. on October 1st.
Ringo Starr talked about the upcoming 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles’ Abbey Road.
“We’re going to promote it, of course. I have heard it, the remaster, and it’s great. And we’re having like a get-together, or I’m going to a get-together at EMI in England, in Abbey Road. I think it’s the 26th of September, so if you’re not busy get over there.”
