Fans are getting a look into John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s relationship leading up to the release of his solo album “Imagine” in the new documentary, “John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky.” The movie is due for release on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital formats on September 13th.
In a new trailer for the doc, the couple spends time together at the estate where the album was recorded. The movie features a number of interviews about their personal and working relationship, including a talk with Ono herself.
“The fact that ‘Imagine’ as a song was written and put out in the world was magical, and I hope you will smell the magic of it,” Ono says in a statement. “I feel in the big picture the fact that John and I met was to do this song.” Check out the trailer to the right.
