Jackson Browne's childhood home, which belonged to his grandfather, sets the scene for a new music video -- but it's not for one of his songs, nor is he in it.
It's for a new song by singer-songwriter Alice Howe titled "Twilight." It was shot at the century-old Abbey San Encino in the upscale Highland Park section of Los Angeles.
He paid homage to the home on his 1973 album For Everyman, as its courtyard is pictured on the cover.
And his brother Severin Browne still lives there.
