The Rolling Stones: First act to gross over $400 mil in two tours

Billboard Boxscoreis reporting that The Rolling Stones' recently completed three-year No Filter tour grossed over $415-million from 2.3-million tickets sold for its 44 shows. This year's 16 U.S. shows averaged $11.1-million per show.

With this achievement they become the only act to have two tours among Billboard’s all-time Top 10. No Filter is eighth, with the 2005-2007 A Bigger Bang tour third. It held the all-time record with $558-million until U2's 360° Tour passed them by with a take of $736.4-million. That tour has since been bumped to second by Ed Sheeran's The Divide Tour (2017-19) with $776.2-million.

The No Filter tour makes the Stones the first act to gross more than $400-million on two separate tours.
