Bob Geldof and his band the Boomtown Rats are the subject of a new documentary. The flick, “Boomtown,” was shot in Dublin, London and New York, and features exclusive interviews with the four members of the reunited band – Geldof, Garry Roberts, Pete Briquette and Simon Crowe.
Several artists were also interviewed about the band for the doc, including Bono, Sting, Sinead O’Connor and Dave Stewart.
So far the film doesn’t have a release date, but it’s expected to be launched at next year’s Cannes Film Festival, which takes place in May 12th to 23rd..
