Paul McCartney has partnered with Netflix and France-based Gaumont Films for the video adaptation of his children's book High in the Clouds.
In development for the past five years, the project will come to life with a screenplay by Jon Croker -- whose credits including Fantastic Beats and Paddington. It will also feature 18 original songs by the ex-Beatle.
Sir Paul says, "We can think of no one better to be working with to bring our film to a global audience. I’ve always loved animated films and this is a hugely important passion project for me. I can’t wait for the world to see it."
