Boomtown Rats release first new album in 36 years

The Boomtown Rats are back. Bob Geldof’s band has announced their first new album in 36 years, “Citizens Of Boomtown,” according to Pitchfork.

The last album was 1984’s “In The Long Grass.” The new record features Geldof, bassist Pete Briquette, guitarist Garry Roberts, and drummer Simon Crowe.

“Citizens Of Boomtown” is due for release on March 13th and can be pre-ordered by clicking HERE. The band is giving fans a preview with the lead single, “Trash Glam Baby.” Check it out to the right.
