John Sebastian and the B-52's Kate Pierson pay tribute to Bob Dylan album

John Sebastian and Kate Pierson of The B-52’s and various other artists performed songs from Bob Dylan’s legendary Highway 61 Revisited album on its 55th anniversary on Monday.

Sebastian, the former Lovin' Spoonful leader teamed with guitarist Jimmy Vivino and drummer Rich Pagano from Beatles tribute band The Fab Faux to perform "It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry" using the name The Darwin Effect

Pierson performed with her touring band, The Restless Age, on the album's title song. The show originated from Bardavon Theater in Poughkeepsie, New York.

The event launched the debut of that venue’s Albums Revisited livestream series. Performances are now posted on YouTube.
