Wolfgang Van Halen reacted angrily this past weekend to a rumor on a Van Halen Facebook group that a reunion of the group that would include him, his uncle, Alex Van Halen, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony was in the works.
The rumor, which comes weeks after the death of his father, Eddie Van Halen, included Wolfgang switching to guitar for the supposed reunion.Wolfgang calls it "just a [crappy] lie attempting to capitalize on these awful times." He also asks whoever is involved to "please stop with this," adding "anyone peddling this [crap] is not only hurting the fans, but hurting me and my family."
Eddie died on October 6th after a battle with cancer at age 65.
