GG Townson would love being part of a Fifth Dimension movie

GG Townson, the granddaughter of the late Ron Townson of The Fifth Dimension has said she "would love to get involved" in a movie about the legendary group.

Townson, who is starring in Lifetime’s movie about the 80’s-90’s group Salt-N-Pepa, has named her favorite songs from her grandfather’s famous group:

"'Wedding Bell Blues' is actually my favorite song by them. Every once in a while, I'll just find myself yelling the first line, 'Biiiilll!' 'Aquarius,' for sure, just makes me smile. It's such a feel good song. 'Up, Up, and Away,' they just have really good, feel good music. And I'm not saying that because he's my grandfather, but they really put out great music and broke so many barriers."

GG went on to say her memories of her grandfather are certainly more personal rather than of The Fifth Dimension’s legacy.GG recalled watching Jerry Springer and WWF Smackdown with him, along with his fondness of sherbet and simply hanging out with her.
