Bonnie Tyler is excited to bring her fans an all-new collection of power ballads. Bonnie’s latest album The Best Is Yet To Come will be released on Friday.
The album really showcases Bonnie’s distinctive voice from her classics like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and her first hit “It’s A Heartache.” The new release features 12 songs from several different composers.
Bonnie talked about the new album: "If you listen to my new album The Best Is Yet to Come, you are totally going to agree with me because it's going to put a smile on your face. It's a joyous album to listen to."
The Wales native singles out "Stronger Than a Man" from songwriting ace Desmond Child. Its message of female empowerment fits well with the spirit of International Women's Day.
Bonnie also talked about covering a couple of classic on the new album, including her version of “Catch the Wind” by Donovan and “I’m Not In Love” by 10cc.
She says about the 10cc cover :"Because it's such a classic song, I wanted to do it with a completely new approach, you know. It would be pointless doing one that's kind of similar. I think I've made it my own, definitely. It's a very passionate song to sing. I poured everything into it."
