B.J. Thomas has revealed he has stage four lung cancer.
The legendary singer and five-time Grammy winner revealed that news to fans on Tuesday afternoon. Thomas is receiving treatment near his Dallas home and hopes for a complete recovery.
He said, "I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to record and perform beautiful songs in pop, country, and gospel music, and to share those wonderful songs and memories around the world with millions of you. I ask all of you for your prayers during this time and that my music can live on with you.”
Thomas hit it big with classics like “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head,” “Hooked On A Feeling,” and “(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song.”Our thoughts and prayers are with B.J. and his family in this time of need.
