Journey fans are thrilled the band is back in the spotlight with a new lineup, new song and tour dates coming up. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain has also just released a new song, "Oh Lord Lead Us."
Cain said, "Coming out of the COVID lockdown, I wanted to make a statement musically."
He added, "Being beaten down, closed up, and with churches shuttered by the quarantine lockdowns, it seemed to me that we needed to make ourselves brand new again. We needed something with a little joy in it... COVID was mentally really tough for a lot of people."
"Oh Lord Lead Us" will be featured on Cain's next album. Journey will hit the road this Thursday with a club concert in Chicago, followed by an appearance at Lollapalooza on Saturday.
