David Crosby is speaking out again

David Crosby is back giving his fans free advice in his ‘Ask Croz’ column in Rolling Stone.

This time out he responds to questions about the lack of frequency in one's sex life, and another about what advice he would give his younger self.

Crosby was asked by one fan what advice he’d give himself 50 years ago. He replied, “Don’t do drugs.”

The rock ‘n roll legend added, "I wasted time. Time is the final currency. Not money. Not power. I wasted probably 10 years, more, just in being stoned. And not happy stoned like a pothead. Desperate stoned like a junkie. It was really hard feeling that badly about myself for that long. It’s an enormous relief to feel good about myself now. But I'm a long shot man. Most of the people who were where I was didn't live. Be true to yourself. Have fun. Try not to hurt people. Don't do hard drugs man. Smoke pot. It's like beer and wine. It's okay. It's not gonna hurt you."

David Crosby has been giving advice in the ‘Rolling Stone’ column the last couple of years. He turns 80 on Saturday.
