Joni Mitchell has been honored as the 2022 MusiCares Person of the Year.
The legendary singer-songwriter will be honored with a tribute concert at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 29th next year, just a couple of nights before the Grammy Awards.
Joni said, “I’m honored to be chosen as person of the year by this great charity. I look forward to being part of this gala that will help MusiCares continue their inspired work in providing a support system for those in need."
Other Person of the Year recent recipients include the likes of Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Lionel Richie, Bob Dylan, Carole King and Bruce Springsteen.
