Mick Jagger and Keith Richards celebrate 60 years

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards just celebrated a milestone last Sunday in their decades-long association—60 years making music.

Jagger and Richards first met in Dartford, England as classmates back in 1950.Mick and his family relocated five miles away later, but on October 17th, 1961, the pair ran into each other once again at the Dartford train station—and they’ve been friends ever since.

Mick and Keith struck up a conversation when Richards noticed Jagger was carrying Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records and they've been together musically ever since.

To commemorate the occasion, Richards used a guitar pick last Sunday night on stage in Los Angeles that had a picture of the two of them along with the caption "60 years on the same train."
