‘Time’ magazine just named Elon Musk their Person of the Year for 2021, and Dolly Parton fans are unhappy about it.
Many of Dolly’s fans blasted the decision on social media, saying she should get the honor because of the contributions she made over the past year, including her Imagination Library and her involvement with the COVID vaccine.
Dolly donated $1 million to the research that lead to the vaccine in 2020, and she did encourage fans to get it on social media, and she also changed the lyrics to her song “Jolene” for the effort.
