While Fleetwood Mac is currently on hiatus, Christine McVie has returned to the studio to rework some of her hits for a new album.
Christine took some time to talk about the songs on her new album Songbird. She said, "They’ve all been produced again by Glyn Johns [with] Vince Mendoza on strings, who does this fantastic version of ‘Songbird.’ But they all sound completely different. That’s out in June this year, and it’s just called Songbird obviously.”
Christine is not sure about the idea of touring at this time. She commented, “That I dare not comment on yet! I’m very cagey about things like that.” Christine’s last solo album was, In the Meantime, back in 2004. In 2017 she put out a self-titled album with Lindsey Buckingham.
