Is ABBA nearing an end?

ABBA's all-new digital show, Voyage, may very well be the their final act, according to Björn Ulvaeus.

Ulvaeus was asked that very thing, and he said: "I think this is it. It's sad to say that, but then again you could always take it back, can't you? So, it could be yes, it could be no."

Voyage, which is being staged at a theater in London, constructed for the digital show, features avatar versions of the group’s members -- also known as "Abba-tars." To achieve the effect, ABBA’s members performed in motion capture suits for five weeks, with 160 cameras scanning their body movements and facial expressions. What fans see at the show is how the band looked back in the 1970’s—during their heyday.

They appear in 2D and lighting effects and back projections provide a depth of field, which makes it seem as though they are really in stage. Voyage was originally scheduled to run through December, but because it has been so successful, the show has been extended through next May.

After the announcement about the extension, a new trailer was been released.
