The Kinks have been discussing a reunion since back in 2013, and Dave Davies says he’s “optimistic” that it will happen.
Davies told The Independent, “I hope so! I do. [My brother] Ray and I have spoken about it – it’s possible! ... We get on okay. We talk about football! We’re born-and-bred Arsenal fans… So, yeah, I’m optimistic about the future.”
Dave just published his memoir ‘Living on a Thin Line.’ He last performed in public with his brother back in 2015 in London when they performed The Kinks’ classic "You Really Got Me."
Their last album was ‘Phobia’ in 1993 and their last show was back in 1996.
