Late Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson's memoir on the way

Late Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson wrote a memoir four years before her death, and it will finally be published in the U.S.

Listen to My Heart: Life, Love & Roxette, which was published in Sweden, where Fredriksson was from, in 2015, has just been translated from Swedish and will released in the U.S. on April 23rd. A limited edition of the book will include a CD of Fredriksson's 2004 solo album The Change.

It was never been released physically in the U.S. The album was recorded after Marie had a brain tumor operation that left her partially blind in one eye.

Marie Fredriksson died from cancer on December 9th, 2019. She once commented on how Roxette’s worldwide success made them icons in their native Sweden.Marie said, "They all know us very, very well in Sweden. And before Roxette started, I had my own solo career and Per was in another band. And that when it happened for us, success with Roxette now and they are very, very proud of us. And we are even going to be on stamps. So it's really... they really love us, it's great."
