Eric Clapton's 'Volume 2' release on the way

A few weeks after he released ‘The Complete Reprise Studio Albums - Volume 1,’ Eric Clapton has released details on ‘Volume 2.’

‘Volume 2’ will be released on January 23rd. It will feature the five albums Clapton recorded for Reprise between 2001 and ’10, along with Rarities (2001-2010), an LP which is exclusive to the collection that includes recordings that have been hard to find from that time.

The five albums included are: Reptile (2001), Me & Mr. Johnson (2004), Sessions for Robert J (2004), Back Home (2005) and Clapton (2010).

All the albums contained in the box are double LPs, with the exception of Sessions of Robert J, which will make its vinyl debut as a single LP.

Rarities (2001-2010) features the B-side “Johnny Guitar” and the Japanese-only bonus track, “Losing Hand.” “Midnight Hour Blues,” another rarity, was actually released back in 2010 as a bonus track for Clapton.

An all new remixed version of that song is now up on YouTube.
