The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to Elton John at one of his farewell concerts at Dodger Stadium in L.A. with a special message for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.
In a video message, Harry and Meghan spoke directly to Elton and thanked him for his friendship.
Harry thanked Elton specifically for being a good friend to his late mother, Princess Diana, along with he and his children Archie and Lilibet Diana. The royal couple also mentioned to the crowd that they had attended one of the Elton’s farewell tour shows and were “so grateful that we were able to see you on your farewell tour.”
Elton did perform at Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Windsor Castle back in 2018.
