Elton John’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour has totally blown away all expectations for success.
Sir Elton launched the tour in 2018. It led the Billboard Top Tours list in 2019, and it’s also the top of that list again with $49.6 million in ticket sales for the month of October.
This is the fifth time it has been the top-grossing tour in a month, which makes Elton the all-time leader on the chart. His overseas schedule in 2023 will give Elton John the chance to become the top-grossing tour in Boxscore history.It’s already the third tour to gross over $700 million.
If it passed the 2017-2019 Ed Sheeran touring total of $776.6 million, it will earn the top spot. That’s would be quite the accomplishment for the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famer.
