The Rolling Stones' new album is getting closer

Keith Richards has posted a New Year's video greeting in which he said they’re getting closer to the new Rolling Stones album, which could be out this summer.

Keith said, "Hi guys, here we are again. I'm wishing you all a belated Happy New Year, and there's some new music on its way and hopefully we’ll get to see you, you know. Anyway, let’s keep our fingers crossed.”

Back in April of 2020, the Stones released one of the new songs, "Living in a Ghost Town." It was their first original song since “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” were released on their 2012  album GRRR!

Their last album of all original music was A Bigger Bang in 2005. Before the new album is released, GRRR Live!, a concert recorded and filmed in December 2012 in Newark, New Jersey during their 50th anniversary tour, will be released.

It will be released February 10th as a triple-album vinyl and a double-album CD, DVD and Blu-Ray.
