Faces reunion and new music

Kenney Jones says he and Ronnie Wood have been working on new songs for Rod Stewart to sing for the reunited Faces.

Jones told Rock Cellar that "At the moment Ronnie Wood and I have been working together, just guitar and drums. And then Ronnie comes in and puts the bass on, ’cause Ronnie’s a great bass player as well. We’re doing that sort of thing." Jones added that they've also been "re-recording some of the old tracks. And one of them is 'I Can Feel the Fire,' which was on Ronnie’s album I’ve Got My Own Album to Do."

Jones also said that fans will most likely get some Faces reissues before any new music. He added, "We’ll be coming out with a load of back catalog stuff."

Today marks the 30th anniversary of a Faces reunion at the Brit Awards in England, during which Rod StewartRonnie Wood, the late Ian McLaganKenney Jones and guest bassist Bill Wyman, subbing for the ill Ronnie Lane, performed the classic "Stay With Me" and "Sweet Little Rock n' Roller."

A video for that is up on YouTube.
