Bob Dylan will release another live album soon. The new album, ‘Shadow Kingdom,’ was recorded in July 2021 during a streaming film event. The show was his first performance since 2019, and the black-and-white film featured Dylan and his masked band playing in an intimate setting, much like a speakeasy, with a small audience.
The show was billed as "The Early Songs of Bob Dylan." Dylan did 13 songs, 11 from the '60s and '70s.He also performed "What Was It You Wanted" from the 1989 album Oh Mercy.
The album will be released on June 2nd, and it will be available on vinyl, CD, and streaming platforms. The full-length Shadow Kingdom feature film will be available for download and rental beginning on June 6th.
Bob Dylan has also released "Watching the River Flow."
