Lionel Richie was not only been asked to perform at the coronation concert for England's King Charles next month, but Lionel said his friend, the King, also requested a song. Lionel told E! News, "The answer is yes, I will do it,” but he added, “We will not reveal [it] because it’s completely enveloped in secrecy. So, all I can [say] is I’m very happy to be there.”
The coronation concert, scheduled for May 7th at Windsor Castle, will also feature Katy Perry, Take That and Andrea Bocelli with more artists to be announced later.
