Eric Clapton is remembering late friend Jeff Beck, his replacement in The Yardbirds, by releasing a recording of them performing the classic "Moon River."
The song was written by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, and it was originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 classic movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. The two of them performed the song when they toured together back in 2010.
Clapton will host two tribute shows to Beck on May 22nd and 23rd at London's Royal Albert Hall. He’ll be joined by Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry.
Jeff Beck died on January 10th from bacterial meningitis. He was 78.
