Ringo Starr said he has no plans to write an autobiography despite being offered “lots of money over the last many years.” Ringo told USA Today part of the reason is that all anyone ever wants to know about is The Beatles. "It’d be three volumes before I get to [1962 when he joined].
Ringo added, “I have just never found interest in it. I don’t want to do Ringo the drummer, because we’re all a bit more than that.” Ringo has published a few photography books. The only Beatle to write his autobiography was George Harrison with I, Me Mine back in 1980.
Ringo is currently back on the road with his All Starr Band.
