Heart is still planning a 50th anniversary tour, but plans have been pushed back to 2024.
Last year, Ann Wilson went on record and said there was "a bunch of stuff planned for [2023 in celebration of their 50th anniversary]. So I can definitely see Heart doing something."
Now it looks like she and sister Nancy are going on the road sometime next year, which will be 50 years since Nancy joined the band – one year after Ann.
This year, Ann will be on the road in July and August, while Nancy and her band, Nancy Wilson's Heart, will play nine cities starting tonight in Niagara Falls, Canada, along with a show in September with Styx in Washington State.
Relations between Ann and sister Nancy have been somewhat strained since 2016, when Ann's husband, Dean Welter, was arrested for assaulting Nancy's twin sons backstage during a show in Seattle. He pleaded guilty to two lesser assault charges in order to avoid jail time.
Back in February, Heart received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award during the Special Merit Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles but only Nancy attended.
