Rod Stewart has listed his Beverly Hills, California mansion. The rocker’s home is listed at $70 million.
The 33,000-square-foot estate sits on three acres. It has nine bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a library, a screening room, a rec room, a gym, a painted bar, a formal dining room that seats 20 people, a speakeasy, and a five-car garage. Outside the home is a soccer field, tennis court, pool, spa, kitchen and fireplace – along with a classical fountain in the middle of the circular driveway.
Rod bought the home in back 1991 for $12 million. He had it refurbished to resemble a European château with marble floors, wood paneling and crystal chandeliers. According to the listing agent, the home will hopefully appeal to those who want "a return to maximalism.”No one is sure if Rod is done living in California once the home sells.
He starts a U.K. tour on June 20th in Cork, Ireland.
