Cher cashes in

Cher has just sold her recordings, including those she did with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono, to her longtime friend and Eagles' manager Irving Azoff's Iconic Artists Group.

There are plans for a 25th anniversary edition box set celebrating her 1998 number-#1 hit “Believe” and the album it was on with the same name.

Cher says she also wants to compile a box set of some of her lesser-known songs, including those that were dance hits such as “Song for the Lonely” and “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.” However, Cher is not planning a tour anytime soon.

Iconic Artists Group owns interests in catalogs of the late Joe CockerNat King ColeDean Martin and David Crosby, as well as Stephen Stills, Linda Ronstadt, and a controlling interest in The Beach Boys’ catalog.
