John Mellencamp says he's been dating a woman, who he won't reveal, for the past seven months.
Mellencamp appeared on comedian Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, and said, “She’s a beautiful 57-year-old woman who just walked into my apartment in New York unexpectedly...”
John added, “She was with a couple of friends. She walked in. She didn’t know I was going to be there. I didn’t know she was there. We met each other.”
Mellencamp said what makes it work is she "has a really high threshold for tolerance,” adding that she’s “never even got angry at me.” Apparently Mellencamp, who has been married three times and has five children, has forgotten about the honeymoon phase of relationships.
In addition to three wives, Mellencamp’s ex-girlfriends include model and Billy Joel's ex-wife Christie Binkley, and actress Meg Ryan to whom he was engaged
