Aerosmith's ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour has been paused after three shows. Steven Tyler has been sidelined because of vocal issues.
Tyler said in a statement , "I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next 30 days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show [in Elmont, New York] that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”
The tour is scheduled to resume on October 11th in Tampa, Florida. This is the second major tour to be halted this month after Bruce Springsteen was forced off the road due to an ulcer.
