Bon Jovi celebrates the holidays

Bon Jovi is spreading some holiday cheer with a new Christmas song and a special edition of Monopoly.

The band announced on their official website that they will release a new single, “Christmas Isn’t Christmas,” this Friday. The song is described as “a heartfelt ballad that captures the longing for being with the ones you love at Christmas.”

This is not the first time Bon Jovi has ventured into the festive genre. They have previously released songs such as “I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas” and covers of “Please Come Home for Christmas” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).” Last year, they also dropped an EP, A Jon Bon Jovi Christmas, which featured three tracks: “Christmas All Over Again,” “Fairytale of New York” and “If I Get Home on Christmas Day.”

But that’s not all. Bon Jovi is also celebrating their 40th anniversary with a collector’s edition of Monopoly, the classic board game. The game features tokens that represent the band’s history and legacy, such as the State of New Jersey, their skull logo, a 40th anniversary Heart & Dagger, Jon's acoustic guitar, their Diamond Superman logo and more. The game also includes custom properties, cards and money.

Fans who pre-order “Christmas Isn’t Christmas” will have a chance to win one of three Monopoly sets autographed by Jon Bon Jovi himself. The winners will be announced on December 15.
