REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin had a bumpy holiday

Rock 'n' roll life is full of surprises, and REO Speedwagon's frontman Kevin Cronin had a story that sounds straight out of a Hollywood script. Over the recent holiday season, Cronin found himself in a minor vehicle mishap that could have actually been a scene from a sitcom.

While navigating the heavy traffic on highway 101 northbound near Oxnard, California, Cronin's journey was abruptly interrupted by the sound of crunching metal. The culprit? A distracted driver who had dropped his cellphone and, in the process of retrieving it, failed to notice the standstill ahead, resulting in a collision with Cronin's SUV.

The driver, a chiropractor of similar age to Cronin, was quick to offer both apologies and professional services right there on the spot. "So sorry man, you hurt? I’m a chiropractor, and I’ll adjust you right here," he quipped, maintaining a sense of humor despite the circumstances.

Fortunately, the incident resulted in no injuries and only minor damage to Cronin's vehicle. Reflecting on the event with his characteristic wit, Cronin remarked, "So yeah, I got rear-ended by a chiropractor. Only in Southern California!"

REO Speedwagon is gearing up for their 2024 tour which is set to kick off on March 20th. Fans can expect the same energy and passion that have defined the band's performances for decades.
