Classic Hits News: David Bowie fans get a treat and Madonna still rocks

David Bowie fans got another song from the upcoming box set, "Rock n' Roll Star." Check out "Lady Stardust (Alternative Version Take 1)" on YouTube, with the five-CD and Blu-ray set due out on June 14th. 

Madonna made history by drawing the largest crowd ever on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. With 1.6 million concertgoers, she broke the previous record of 1.5 million set by The Rolling Stones in 2006. The event also marked the finale of her Celebration Tour, adding another feather to the pop icon's cap. 

Rick Springfield announced a pay-per-view stream of "Late, Late at Night, The Rick Springfield Story," a play based on his autobiography. The play, starring Jackson Carroll, will stream through his merch website on May 18th.  

After performing with The Rolling Stones at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans, Ronnie Wood returned to the festival to watch Foo Fighters. He shared his experience through a video clip on his social media platforms. The Rolling Stones, with Wood, are set to continue their Tour ’24. 

Bruce Springsteen kicked off his U.K. and European tour in Cardiff, Wales, performing “So Young and in Love” for the first time since 2013, “Better Days” for the first time since 2017, plus “If I Was the Priest,” “The River,” and “Born in the U.S.A.” His next stop is Belfast, Northern Ireland on Thursday.
