Lenny Kravitz rocks on at age 60

Lenny Kravitz celebrated his 60th birthday this past Sunday, just two days after the release of his 12th studio album, "Blue Electric Light." In a recent interview with Gayle King on ‘CBS Mornings,’ Kravitz shared his thoughts on aging, his new music, and his current relationship status. On turning 60, Kravitz said, "I don't trip out on age at all." I don't understand the concept at all...I've never felt more young."

As for his new album, "Blue Electric Light," Kravitz said it was one of "about four albums" he created during the pandemic at his home in the Bahamas. He felt a sense of urgency with this album, saying, "This is the one I felt needed to come first. It felt very immediate. It felt like this was the beginning of the wave I should be riding. Some music I make needs to sit, but this felt like this needed to come out right now."

When asked about his love life, Lenny admitted to being open to possibilities. "It's hard not to look. You're looking for it, right? But I find that when you don't look is when you find it," he said. He also confessed that he feels ready for love now more than ever before, stating, "I've said this for several years -- 'I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready.' I wasn't ready. I thought I was ready. But I can say that I've never felt how I feel now."
