Rolling Stones go 'country' on Tour '24

The Rolling Stones, on their Tour ‘24, brought back the classic 1971 hit "Dead Flowers" for the second time during their concert in Chicago on Sunday night. In a repeat of the first performance, they were joined on stage by a country singer. The first time, on June 3rd in Orlando, was Tyler Childers, and this time, it was Lainey Wilson, who had opened the show. Mick Jagger, in a playful interaction, asked Wilson what they were going to do, to which she responded, "Do some 'Dead Flowers.'" Jagger then donned an acoustic guitar and a cowboy hat, setting the stage for a memorable performance.

The concert had another surprise in store for the audience. The Stones debuted "Before They Make Me Run" from their 1978 album, Some Girls, with Keith Richards taking the lead on vocals. This unexpected addition to the setlist added an extra layer of excitement to the evening, showcasing the iconic band's ability to keep their performances fresh and engaging.

The Stones will next perform in Vancouver on Friday, followed by two shows in Los Angeles, one in Santa Clara, California, and the grand finale on July 21st in Ridgedale, Missouri.
