Cher has finally completed a long-anticipated memoir. The legendary singer’s story can’t be contained in a single volume. So, the memoir will be divided into two parts covering different stages of her life.
The first part of the memoir will hit the shelves on November 19th. This segment of her life story traces her journey from her humble beginnings, through her childhood, and up to the point where she met and married Sonny Bono. It offers an intimate look into their complex relationship that catapulted them to global fame, but also led to their eventual separation.
The publisher emphasizes that this memoir is not just about the superstar that the world knows. It uncovers Cher as a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. Her life, as the publisher puts it, is "too immense for only one book." While the publication date for the second part of the memoir is yet to be officially announced, it’s expected to be released in 2025.
