Simon & Garfunkel bury the hatchet over lunch

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel recently got together over lunch. Garfunkel shared with The Sun that the meeting was “very, very warm and wonderful,” filled with emotional moments. He admitted to shedding tears, feeling that he had hurt Simon in the past, though he did not elaborate on the reasons. Despite the past, the reunion was marked by hugs and a deep sense of cherishing the moment.

Garfunkel expressed his belief in the power of love in all his relationships. He emphasized that he holds no grudges and believes in resolving conflicts to find peace. “I love everyone,” he stated, highlighting his philosophy of letting go of negativity to live a harmonious life. This touching reunion comes after a long hiatus since their last performance together in 2010.

Paul Simon continues to face challenges with hearing in his left ear, Art Garfunkel and his son, Art Jr., are set to release their first album together, titled “Father and Son.” This collection of duets includes classics like Simon and Garfunkel’s “Old Friends,” Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” and The Beatles’ “Blackbird.” The album, which also features the title track “Father and Son” by Cat Stevens, will be available this Friday.
